On Belarus’s Adherence to the Convention on the Rights of the Child
We would like to present our alternative report On Belarus’s Adherence to the Convention on the Rights of the Child for the 82nd Pre-sessional Working Group (June 2019) and the 83rd Session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (January 2020) prepared the International centre for civil initiatives “Our House” with the support of ADC “Memorial” and some other international child rights network/ CSOs.
This report is based on materials directly collected by Our House International Centre for Civil Initiatives, obtained upon request from government agencies, and covered in the media. Our House used official statistics posted on the official websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Belstat, as well as regulatory sources.
