Dictator Lukashenko continues to drag our country into a real war against Ukraine. There are new attacks on Ukrainian cities from the territory of Belarus.

On Monday, October 10, Russia has struck launched brutal missile and drone blows on Ukraine’s peaceful cities, including both residential areas and energy infrastructure. Many people died and numerous ones were injured. It is sad that the blow was also delivered from the territory of Belarus – Iranian Shahed 136 drones took off from there, which hit civilian targets in the Zhytomyr and Volyn regions. And today new strikes followed, including again from the territory of Belarus.

This means that the official Minsk is increasingly drawing Belarus into the war between Russia and Ukraine. After all, the use of our country as a battle bridgehead makes Belarus a legitimate target for retaliatory strikes by Ukrainian troops. But at the same time, it is not only the soldiers who will suffer, but also civilians – unfortunately, it does not happen differently.

Moreover, the already officially recognized participation of Belarus in Russia’s aggression against Ukraine ends in mutual bitterness and animosity between Ukrainians and Belarusians. Alexander Lukashenko and his entourage, as well as his special services and state propagandists, are doing their best pushing Belarusians further into a deep hatred towards both Ukraine and its inhabitants. The Ukrainians, in turn, see where death comes to them from – and after that they can only treat the Belarusians with extreme caution or preconceptions.

Our House strongly condemns the use of Belarusian territory for strikes against Ukraine. As well as in general any involvement of Belarus in the war, support for the aggressor country, incitement of hatred between nations. It’s time to stop this war, otherwise it must inevitably spread to the territory of Belarus.
