Our House, together with Maisto Bankas, helps Belarusians in need with foodstuffs. First of all, they are those who are in a waiting refugee status and do not have the right to work legally in Lithuania at the time.

Unfortunately, repression in Belarus continues unabated and people are still forced to leave the country. Many of those who have arrived in Lithuania are applying for refugee status. But until official documents are obtained, they are not allowed to work in Lithuania. Food is a basic necessity for living. And this kind of help, provided by Our House in cooperation with Maisto Bankas, is invaluable.

On another Food Thursday, more than 100 kilos of food were delivered to the Our House office. These are milk and meat products, white and brown bread, fruit and vegetables. They were distributed among the families of needy Belarusian refugees.
